For many years Ross has been collecting fine whiskies and Cuban cigars - some call it an excessive obsession, he says - "for the love of the finer things in life".
With his lengthy list of whiskies sampled, Ross has built up a trusted palate, having provided tasting notes for several indy bottlings of whisky and rum.
Ross attends whisky festivals in the UK and Europe and strives to become more involved in the industry, bringing his thoughts and tastings to a wider audience.
Greg feels he arrived a little late to the whisky party, having started his own journey in 2012. Prior to that, he wasn't sure about whisky, probably due to experiences with low quality malts and blends.
After sampling The Balvenie 12-year-old Doublewood with American guests, it opened his eyes to the world of higher quality whiskies.
As his whisky journey continues, Greg is constantly learning about the tradition and complex nature of single malts and blends.
